De paseo por el campo/ A promenade in the country side

Antonio Fazziello nos invitó a pasear por los caminos veredales que el conoce muy bien con las ninhas y ayer aceptamos el reto...

La carroza 


El tiene un medio de transporte que se mueve con dos caballos de fuerza y sirve para llevar a preciosas caracolas como las nuestras, sobra decir que nosotros hicimos de caballos de fuerza en tanto que Laia e Ilona fueron las caracolas mas orgullosas de la region, gritaban con alegria CIAO!! a todos sus companheritos de escuela que vimos en Acquarica.

El paseo fue por los caminos que van desde Acaya hasta Acquarica y luego el regreso pasando por Struda.

El color de la primavera, el sol y la gente que asistía a la misa y bendición de los ramos de este domingo de ramos junto con los OLIVOS, claro!! acompanharon el verde del campo durante el camino, pero este paseo estuvo dedicado a admirar los PAGLIARI (PAGGHIARU en dialecto)

Es la manifestación arquitectónica mas típica de la región, están hechos totalmente de piedra y tienen una forma cicular que se vá angostando progresivamente para terminar en una cúpula, en su construcción no se usaba ningún tipo de cemento o material aglutinante eran otras piedras las que servian de sosten y de pegamento, hay de muchos tamanhos y se ven diseminados por el lugar aca son rústicos pero adquieren su dimensión más turística como TRULLIS en unos pueblos que están entre Brindisi y Bari a un par de horas en carro desde aca, los hemos visto desde la carretera, aunque tampoco son los e verdad sino los de campo como el de la foto que tomamos en noviembre pasado hay que decir que el entorno ayuda mucho, pero aun no hemos ido seguro que con los primeros que vengan de visita haremos el recorrido. Antonio Fazziello invited us to bike around the several country paths with the snails and yesterday we decided to accept.

He has a nice transport that needs a couple of human motors and is useful for carrying snails, we were the motors and our snails the happy guests.

We went through paths that bring together Acaya and Acquarica, and on our way back went through Struda, we enjoyed the colors of sprint, the sun and the people going to the mass of the first easter sunday, plus, ofcourse, OLIVE TREES were our companions today, but we expent most of this promenade enjoying the PAGLIARI (PAGGHIARU In dialect).

This are probably the most typical construction of the region, are very antique constructions made out of stone, they have conical form and do not use any kind of material to stick to each other, solely stone is used to do it. Over here they are very rustic but the most turistic ones are the TRULLIS that you could find in towns at about 2 hours from here (between Brindisi and Bari), we have seen them from the highway (although the ones we have seen are not the real ones but the those of country side the image of the picture taken in november is still beautiful) but plan to go visit them as soon as we have people over here visiting us.
